I've been really bad about making cards that we need to send out. Surprisingly, I have a little mojo and don't have a Sister Stamps deadline in my face, so I was able to get a little crafty this weekend.
My husband asked me to make a wedding card for a co-worker. Of course, he did not know if they had any colors or theme, so I had to wing it. I thought it would be safe to stick with neutrals, so I went for gold and cream. I've been stuck on making flowers and making cris cross cards, so I combined them both to come up with this...
This flower was inspired by this video by Jaizella who owns Lavish Laces. (Hi Jaizella!) It's a flatter version of Vicki's puffy flower. If you haven't watched Vicki's tutorial yet, check it out here... They are so addicting to make!
Finally, the inside card was done using a PTI set. I love the sentiment for weddings. First I stamped the sentiment in archival ink. To make sure it was totally dry, I used my heat gun on it. After it was dry, I then stamped a Hero Arts heart using Versamark ink, then covered it with gold perfect pearls. Love how it turned out.
Be back soon with another card to share... I was on a roll!
