October OCS

Are you ready for Halloween yet? I have Halloween coming out of my ears! So of course my OCS had to have a hint of Halloween in it right? This month, I was partnered up with Michelle from Mushi's Creative Inspirations. Her stuff is really cute, so you need to check out her blog if you haven't already. She's also been featured on Ben Franklin's The Joy of Crafting Show! How intimidating for me to be paired up with a celebrity!
Since she seems to like Hello Kitty (like me), I went with this cute Hello Kitty dressed as a black cat. This was cut from my HK Cricut cartridge. I don't use my cricut much since the piecing kills me, but this project wasn't too bad... I guess there weren't a lot of tiny pieces. Here's a close up of Kitty.
I actually took the time to decorate the inside for once. Here's what it looked like when you open the card. Supplies:
Hello Kitty- HK Cricut Cartridge
Trick or Treat and Happy Halloween Sentiments- Hero Arts
Ghost digi- Designer Digitals- Mindy Terasawa (Boo to you)
DP- My Mind's Eye (Boo to you)
Drippy goo punch- Martha Stewart
Cardstock- Bazzil
Stickles
And here's my card from Michelle! Michelle was so fast in getting her card to me. Thank goodness Teri gave us an extension this month.. otherwise I'd be really late! I only mailed out her card on Monday! Thanks to Michelle for being patient. Isn't this Halloween image so cute? No wonder she was featured on The Joy of Crafting!
Thanks to Teri, who coordinates the OCS every month. You should sign up for her next swap in November. Its fun to meet other crafters and exchange cards. No pressure of making 100 cards (ok I'm exaggerating, but you get the picture) in a short period of time.
